Swadhey Foundation celebrated the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule at the Jeevan Samvardhan Foundation Girls' Hostel in Thane with a small yet meaningful session. The event honored the life and contributions of Savitribai Phule, a pioneering social reformer and advocate for women's education.

Session Highlights:
•  Knowledge Sharing: We conducted a brief session highlighting the remarkable life and work of Savitribai Phule, focusing on her efforts to improve education for girls and marginalized communities.
•  Interactive Discussion: The girls were encouraged to share their views on Savitribai Phule's legacy and deliver short speeches, reflecting on her impact.

Outcome: The session provided the girls with a deeper understanding of Savitribai Phule's significant role in shaping education and society. It was an inspiring day of learning, sharing, and empowering young voices.

Title: :- Republic Day Celebration at Samtol Foundation

Swadhey Foundation was invited by our reference at Samtol Foundation to celebrate Republic Day with them. It was an enriching experience to witness the wonderful program organized by the students. The students actively participated in a variety of activities, including rallies, speeches, and some unique ideas that were creatively implemented during the event.

After the program, we had the pleasure of distributing snacks to all the participants, adding to the festive spirit of the day.

A special thank you to Tushar Kathore ji from the Doctor’s & Engineers Foundation for inviting us to be a part of such an inspiring event and Samtol Foundation for making this celebration possible and for. It was truly a memorable day filled with patriotism, learning, and camaraderie.

Title: :- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti Celebration

Every year, Swadhey Foundation celebrates the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by distributing snacks and water to the dedicated policemen who serve our communities. This year, we carried out this activity in two cities—Kalyan and Dombivli. Over 200 policemen were served snacks and water, with the participation of more than 15 enthusiastic volunteers.

While everyone celebrates in their own way, our core motive remains clear—to help others. Guided by the teachings and spirit of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, we continue to honor his legacy by carrying out such acts of kindness on special occasions. Through these activities, we not only show appreciation for the hard work of our police personnel but also create awareness in the community about the importance of helping and supporting one another.

Title: :- Introduction & Basics of Personality Development

The session began with a warm welcome and an introduction to the Unplugged Education program. Students were introduced to the concept of Personality Development, its importance, and ways to enhance it.

Activity: Participants engaged in a Reading and Public Speaking exercise designed to improve self-awareness, confidence, and communication skills.
•  Students wrote about their interests and aspirations.
•  They shared their answers with the group to practice public speaking.
•  A fun cheat sheet passing game encouraged active listening and group interaction.

Outcome: The activity fostered self-discovery, boosted public speaking confidence, and created a supportive environment for learning.

Title:- Personality development session- 2: Cleanliness & its Importance

Overview: The session began with a revision of the previous lesson, where students shared changes they implemented after the first session. The day focused on the importance of cleanliness, covering its pros and cons, and included a hands-on group activity.

Topics Covered:
• The significance of cleanliness in daily life and routines.
• Pros and cons of maintaining cleanliness, such as better health and productivity versus the effort involved.

Activity: A fun group competition where teams cleaned specific areas within a time limit, fostering teamwork and leadership.
•  Judges from the participants ensured rules were followed.
•  Winning teams received gifts, and team captains were tasked with maintaining cleanliness in their assigned areas.

Outcome: The activity raised awareness about cleanliness while encouraging leadership, teamwork, and communication skills among participants.

The session included a revision of important topics, homework review, a small examination, and a Q&A session to ensure students’ understanding of leadership principles.

•  Revision of Key Topics:   We revisited the core concepts of leadership, including: Definition of leadership, Key leadership qualities, Conflict management, The link between leadership and personality development
•  Homework Review:  We reviewed students' homework to assess their progress and understanding.
•  Examination:   A short examination was conducted to test knowledge on leadership qualities, conflict management, and their practical applications.
•  Q&A Session:   The session concluded with a Q&A, where students could clarify doubts and discuss how leadership applies in real life.

Conclusion: The session marked the successful completion of the Leadership Development module, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to apply leadership in their personal and professional lives.

We celebrated Diwali by sharing the Diwali Ank 2024, Titled “ गरुडझेप “, at Jeevan Samvardhan Foundation.
It was a wonderful session where we explained the Diwali Ank and its special features to everyone.

We conducted our session at three different centres of Jeevan Samvardhan Foundation in Titwala, Thane and Badlapur. The ank was distributed to over 130 students across three locations.

A special feature of this ank is that it covers a variety of topics- General Knowledge, History, Math, Reading and writing etc. Additionally, it has been tailored to different grade levels for a more personalized learning experience. We are confident that students will benefit greatly from our own creation, the Diwali Ank. We are very thankful to Jeevan Samvardhan Foundation for allowing us to distribute the Diwali Ank 2024.

Title: :- Durg Dipotsav at Pimplas Fort

Continuing our cherished tradition, Swadhey Foundation celebrated Durg Dipotsav at the historic Pimplas Fort, blending the spirit of Diwali with our commitment to heritage preservation. This annual event reflects our deep respect for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, as we light the first diya in his honor before illuminating our homes.

The day began with a fort-cleaning drive, where our team actively worked to restore the fort’s surroundings, ensuring it retained its historical charm. Beautiful rangolis were drawn, and floral decorations added a vibrant touch to the site. As the morning sun rose, the fort radiated with the warm glow of traditional oil lamps, creating a serene and sacred ambiance.

Durg Dipotsav is not just a festival; it is a tribute to our rich cultural heritage and a reminder of our responsibility to preserve it for future generations. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants who contributed their time and effort to make this event meaningful and memorable.

Title: :- Basic Skill Development Session -1

As part of our Unplugged Education program for Jeevan Samvardhan Foundation, Swadhey Foundation conducted the first session of the Basic Skill Development module at JSF, Titwala. This session introduced students to the concept of skills, their significance, and their connection to Personality and Leadership Development.

Session Highlights:
•  Introduction & Recap: A warm welcome followed by a quick revision of the Personality and Leadership Development modules.
•  Understanding Skills: Interactive discussions on the meaning of skills, their advantages, and their role in personal growth.

Title: :- Session at JSF Girls Hostel

Swadhey Foundation visited the Jeevan Samvardhan Foundation’s girls' hostel in Thane for an engaging and insightful feedback session. The session focused on discussing the Diwali Ank (activity booklet) that we had provided during Diwali, where the students shared their experiences, learnings, and challenges while solving it.

Beyond feedback, we took the opportunity to address their queries, clarify doubts, and encourage them through interactive discussions. To make the visit even more memorable, we played games and spent quality time with the students, fostering a joyful and positive learning environment.

This session not only helped us understand the impact of our initiative but also strengthened our connection with the students, motivating us to continue such meaningful interactions.
